I know im gonna take all kinds of S*** over this but im gonna post it anyhow i know all you guys have some good advise I bought Quadzilla yes im asking for help with a Suzuki . and i know i have it coming to me but i need your help lol The jetting seemed to be a bit off so i started with making a slight adjustment to the air screw took it up the road and back maybe a half mile. when i got back it just stalled and started to sputter almost as if it was running out gas. So today i drained all the fuel from it replaced it with klotz 36:1 still the same thing. seemed a little crispier but still will not take and throttle like it wasn't cleaning itself out. So we started with the jets started with 175 went to 178 and back to 170---- and from 52 to 55 back to 52----- and moved the needle down 1 clip no change real change idles fine. So we pulled the stator cover off to find just a little oil. Do you guys think this is my problem could it be the rings? How bad of a fix is it on the 500 , I have a puller for a banshee will it work on this stator? any help guys would be greatly appreciated i have to do something with it right away . I didn't have my compression tester with me today so i will have to check it tomorrow. I have already talked to jim at passion and will be shipping my zilla motor out to him.(Can only imagine how this thing is gonna run when he has added his touch to it) But would really like to trouble shoot this thing so i can tell if im gonna need more work done than i think. any help would be greatly appreciated and if u dont care to help as a long time time banshee owner i can understand that too lol.

Don't worry brother i wasn't leaving you out! lol But in all honesty you know i have always been a Banshee Guy I got that 4 poke and was just never happy i needed a smoker so I bought me a zilla. Actually looking at 99 shee for my boy. should be rdy to flattrack it by next season. But i had to give Max some shit cause he has or is it had the bike to beat. lol. All in good fun But anyhow here HE is bad pics was way too bright

MadMax has a badass banshee fastest i have ever been on. Its a family affair hes my little brother After I thought i had a quick Banshee until i turned him onto this site and passion racing. He got that thing back broke it in first thing we had done was take them to a old side road here to run them off ( he wanted to take the local title from me little prick) and he did that passion motor just checked out on me. kinda reminds me of being shot out of a cannon and trying to steer the cannon ball. hope to see him sweep the circuit again this season.shhh don't tell him but little brother lastnight i bought a quadzilla(farfrom stock) and i cant beat him now maybe i can talk dirty to jim and get him to play with my zilla. I know he's the banshee god but im sure he can work his magic for me on the zilla. great job on this season max ill be over on that old side road waiting for ya all day. you know the place lol time to get that title back lol

Happy Fathers day After spending all day yesturday at sixflags with the kids they ask me what do u want to do for fathers day.well i was thinking sitback all day in the A/C being it is the only day we get.well that was until my son suggested we go do some rideing. I started him out rideing a 1973 jr 50 at A year and a 1/2(yes it was my 1st bike too) my dad kept that thing hanging on the was for like 20 years. Well he just turned 13 and has come along ways from that little 50 to a RM 85 . But yeah thats we are gonna do for fathers day is go rip it up together. P.S smart kid was thinking all week how the hell i was get the wife to let me go rideing today.

hey whats up all i got another banshee a few months back and had it out in the woods yesturday we was running around in some tight wooded trails showing the 4x4's we could anywhere they could and i poped it across this little ditch and had her parked slightly on a hill front left faceing down back right slightly up i walked a away for a few minutes then all i could small was the klotz running out of my case i didnt leave it sitting there long when i seen that but looked be runnig out around front sprocket when sittien level nothing happen so we towed it (is there a gasket right there and is it hard to change.and also is this just normal wear and tear and help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

my brother had the same problem on his turned out to be a bent needle. are u getting a good amount of spark on that right bank could be in the plug caps

hey guys i had a shaved head on my bike and it was getting about 160 psi compression i just rebuilt the topend with vito power pistons but a local shop said i should not put that shaved head back on it with those pistons ..said it would have too much compression is there any truth to that? i have not checked the compression on the motor since the rebuild. thanks in advance for your advice.

and i forgot that it doesnt really want to idle and wont run when i pulled the airbox and filter and i would have to choke it to fire it up thanx again

i just got this banshee off a buddy and he had a shaved head stock bore fmf fatties i believe it has a 240 main jet in it.. and it ran great in all ranges i had it bored 0.20 over and used the vito pistons put the stock head back on it.mixture is at 32:1 (just for the break in) but it is popping like crazy from 0 to 1/4 throttle i take it past that runs great. plugs are black and pretty wet. i have been trying to read all the info but can be confusing for sure it sounds to me like im haveing a issue with the pilot jet . i could really use some help not even 100% sure it is the jetting..

im haveing a similar problem i just went from stock bore with a shaved and fmf fatties ! to 20 over with vito power pistons and the stock back on it was running a 240 main jet and now it is popping like a gun going off from 0 to 1/4 throttle. And the plugs are black and pretty wet.and the bike isnt broke in yet any suggestions on where to start. everything i have been reading point to being lean on the pilot .would appreciate any help

I have a shaved head on my 03 limitededition (had i should say). i bought it that way so not sure on how far.but it must have been pretty far because i was puly 160 psi from each cyclinder.which i do believe was the result of takeing the rod bearings out of it lol. but dont get me wrong man it did make a hell of a difference.and try the race fuel -
i have a 350..30 over(355) 010 nickle block complete rdy to bolt in fresh. steal crank 302 dz heads ported and polished 202 valves decked bigblock springs screw in studs guied plates the whole deal would include the tranny if interested turbo 375 universial bolt pattern email me for more details [email protected] p.s the heads alone on this motor are worth close to a $1000

hey guys i could really use some advise here. My bike just started knocking (sounds kinda like a lifter tapping on a car).and it did seem to go up and down with motor. i pulled the jugs off to check for slop .And what i found was that i could spin the pistons a little each way on the rod.now i know this is odd but they are both doing it about the same distance.I brought each piston up to top dead center to check for play in the crank . i had no up and down movement on the rod but just a little side to side as normal but felt tight.I checked the flywheel to see if it was trashed but seemed to be tight too. so now i sit here with this banshee motor on my pc desk lol! and still have no clue.. if anyone could help me with this i would really appreciate it even if u just have some ideas really hate to go throught the bottom end if i dont have too. thanx again for the help guys

well i have my shee all tore down plan to go all through it this year and have it done before the indoor winter season starts. as i said in my last post my bike just started knocking from what sounded to me like the bottom end. i have not open the motor for i dont know much about the bottom end and would like to know who u guys can recommend me sending it out to alot of shops around here but i want a banshee man to tear into it if ya know what i meen. also some ideas on whats the best all around set up .i race mx and trail ride some dune action too also i have a stock head that is cut very far the compression ratio was like 170 and made all kinds of difference would i benifit more by going to the noss head or staying with the stock.thanx in advance
