sezer
i have gas leaking from the vent hose in one of my carbs...i think it might have something to do with the float!!! any ideas let me know...thanks
watkins
Maybe the float is stuck. Lightly tap the side of the float bowl with the handle of a screwdriver... see if that fixes it.. otherwise you may have to adjust your float height. ssanddemon
... Or more likely replace the needle and seat.
macgillivary
did you have you carb apart right before this happened? i know this happened to me, I took my carb apart but put my float back in wrong and it leaked all out if you didnt have it apart i would say a stuck float
mybadbanshee
is it leaking while its running?if not, turn the gas off dummy
Shee-Male
Its polaby something in the needle and seat, what I do is shut off the fuel until it stops leaking then turn the fuel back on, the blast of fuel usually flushes it out
Otis
yeah give the bowl a few good raps with the handle end of a screwdriver, like watkins suggested...most likely a stuck float....
