"The latest news from out inside sources at suzuki infroms us that plans for the unveiling of thier all new LTZ 450 high performance quad are in high gear. We're looking for an official debut sometime later this summer, but hereis the scoop on what weve heard so far. The new 450 will not share any component parts from the current z 400. It will be all new from the ground up. It will use a beefed up version of the RMZ450 dirt bike engine, with a DOHC, four-value, liquid cooled four stroke. Look for a much heavier duty clutch for added wear and tear of an atv's extra set of wheels and tires. We have also heard rumors that the new z450 will come with race ready suspension and even have wider a-arms that most racers bolt on to make their machines more competitive. Suzuki has spent a lot of time and invested a lot of money to ensure that the newest z will be track ready"... the rest says how they cant wait to see it and to look for a first test in an issue or 2. and thats from dirt wheels in the over the bars section july editon yea bitch its gonna be fast ass hellllll Quote

H250RHATER Posted June 2, 2005 Author Report Posted June 2, 2005 The way i see it, yamaha will only get faster. 376538[/snapback] i have faith in suzuki no i really hope it will kill the competition as far as i know doug gust is in japan every now and then beatting the balls off the prototypes his motor now is the yosh stroker 450 kit ported bla bla bla .. . suzuki will not allow him to race the z450 motor just to see how they can do on the stroker( to me thats pretty stupid when yamaha is running there 480's) i know this info from my suzuki representative that come's into my dealer my friend (works at motion he's a sales man )eather has.. or the rep showed him the pics if he has them i will definatly showw!!! if you cant tell i really like suzuki and yamaha favorite bike brands Quote

I keep wondering that about sport bikes, they're just getting sicker and sicker I mean today's liter bikes will smoke a superbike of ten years ago. Basically we are buying race models....not that this is negative, it means less shit i gotta buy But you gotta wonder how much further will they continue to crack the envelope ? Quote

I hope it makes the yfr and 450r look like trash so yamaha and honda get serious about racing. Although Bill Ballance says the ufz is going to be all new this year....it very well could be another benchmark year for ATVs Quote
