Rare Scottish Tree Badger Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 I'm on a rebuild just now, and bought an RZ bottom end for bits and pieces. Mainly for the crank and clutch forks, but there's a few other parts worth keeping aswell. I was stripping down the RZ clutch and noticed these rubber rings that lay inside the clutch fibres. I didn't remember seeing these while stripping down my Banshee clutch (for the first time), so went to check. ... Nope, no cushion rings. Looked in the Clymer, and sure enough, they're supposed to be there. Anyone else removed them? And if so, why? ... I certainly haven't had any problems with my clutch, either in performance or noise. Rare. Quote
