The raptor thing has reverse, electric start and it's a 4 stroke. The banshee is let's say a race bike no reverse to electric start and it 2 stroke you gotta mix the gas.. The banshee is a violent ride that will part the hair right down the center of your scalp.... The banshee has more performance parts advailable... The banshee is in it's last yrs of production.... Comparing the banshee and the raptor is like comparing apples to oranges.... Compare the Banshee to the YZF450 and that may be acceptable... Quote

IDAHOSHEE Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 BANSHEE = CRAPTOR = I know this to be true, I own both. And not even the 350 raptor but the 660. There is no comparrison, if you want to fly, get the banshee. Quote
iceman Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 the difference is the banshee is a twin cylinder 2 stroke 350cc and a raptor is a single cylinder 4 stroke 350cc. 4 strokes need about twice the displacement to equal a two strokes power. thats why 250 two strokes race with 450 four strokes. so a 350 four stroke is way slower than a 350 two stroke. hope that helped. and get a banshee, youll love it.
