I don't really think nerfs are needed for my riding...and didnt like the stock peg size. Also didn't wanna pay like $200 for the double wides. Here is the easiest and fastest way to get the double wide pegs.

you don't have to weld them...the bolts were sufficient..but why not?

not quite done yet...gonna paint them up so no rustnig occurs.

Cost:

$25 for stock pegs from HQ member Gargamel

$4 for the nuts and bolts I wanted to use.

$10 for my buddies welding skills....gotta tip a good worker! :cheers:

It looks a little cleaner if you cut the added peg at a bevel where it comes in contact with the peg mount. Hard to describe exactly.

Take a look at the inside of the rear peg:

the teeth on my pegs are worn the fk out!!! got any tips for that? :shrugani:

dremel / grind in some more. just grind down a little between spikes. OR>>>BUY NEW ONES. This guy on here makes you some PHAT aluminum ones for $80. search for pegs...you'll see it.
