i was wondering what your company matches you and how your 401k is doing.

my company matches 1.5%

and lately its not been doing too well but i was told to ride it out but it really sucks.

my company matches 6% of my 40 hr week. My returns have been decent for the past year considering the risk group I'm in. I was told that in the current economy equity holdings seem to work well which is what I have through prudential.

They match dollar for dollar up to 8% and that includes OT.

1 YR 3 YR 5 YR 10 YR Life As of Date

37.50 24.04 22.02 15.85

Here is mine for the duration that I have had it.

I have mine through Fidelity Benefits. Most of mine is tied up in Company stock which has been going nuts.

The company that I work for contributes $4.00 per hour that I work over and above my wages, plus I add another $2.00 per hour that is taken out before taxes. The nice thing is that i can juggle mine around, so Ihave about 10-15% in high risk, 10-15% in medium risk, and 70% in stable/secure markets.

We get 6% here. You can only put $14 or $15 grand in per year, so we max it out every year. Be carefull buying a lot of company stock, look at all those Enron ex-employees with NO retirement.
