badshee98 Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 waste of money. save your money and get either a set of carbontech reeds for the stock cages or a set of v-force reeds Quote
locogato11283 Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 reed spacers work if u need them so that ur carbs will clear the clutch arm. thats usually done with big carbs... Quote
badshee98 Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 that is the only thing they are good for. you can get intakes that accomplish that same thing though. Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 thats the purpose of reed spacers?to clear the clutch arm? it doesnt improve performance? Quote
ssanddemon Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 These guys should be making boost bottles with wings too. Quote
RNBRAD Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 I think the beveled edges would look killer, but the wing design I'm unsure about until I see them on. Quote
Rattlehead Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 I don't know man, The wings look like they might collect alot of nice dirt and mud, but that's about it. I'm more into clean lines and things like that. I like parts to flow together. They would look like a size 12 shoe on a size 6 foot to me. If ya know what I mean. Quote
05bansh Posted April 3, 2005 Report Posted April 3, 2005 The design is more for looks than anything else. Like Locogato said, spacers are for clearing the clutch arm when you are running bigger carbs, they arent going to give you any performance. I wouldnt waste your $$ unless you are going to be or are running bigger carbs that need the clearance. Quote
