hey,im thinking of trying to trade my T5s and pick up some sheerers soon. maybe even sell them and buy new ones. does anyone have a sound clip? i really want to hear them before i go looking for them. Or at least tell me what they sound comparable too, CPI, rockets, ETC.... i am choosing these over CPIs bcause i think they are pretty ugly, and any of those pipes will put perform my T5s with my setup. how are the quality of these pipes, like chrome and fit? im sure i will think of more questions so just give me time :P thanks!!

EDIT: DOH' i should have put this in the jetting and exhaust fourm!!

They are for a drag ported bike? If you are just trail riding or motor cross you won't like them!!

i wouldnt get shearers. they are a very peaky pipe aimed almost strictly for dragging. i would run rockets. they seem to have more bottom end than cpi and will match if not beat cpi on top.

the bike has a bottom end dune port. i ride alot of sand pits, and trails sometimes. the trails arnt real technical, mostly pretty fast. we like to do hillclimbs and alot of WOT riding. i talked to jim and he said the sheerers would be the best pipe for my setup, im just wondering what everyone thinks of them.

i'd go with loco, get some rockets man. you can see he's kickin some ass with them on his videos. also, if your for torque, i wouldnt get shearers. on a dyno they performed the least torque out of every pipe, which is maybe why they are drag pipes only.

You might talk to DUNEDEMON about it. He went from Toomeys to Shearers.

I have shearer bigbore inframes on my cheetah 485 and I love them. They dynoed at 95 horse and 60 lb's. I have never run rockets but I do like them better the cpi's. Just my two cents. In the end I would go with what your builder says he would now that motor better then any body else.
