HAVING A PROB JUST GOT SOME 28 MM CARBS FROM A FRIEND AND WENT TO PUT THEM ON MY SHEE BUT THEY WONT FIT IN THE BOOTS??? SHOULDNT 28 MM CARBS FIT INTO STOCK AIR BOX BOOTS?? THE AFTERMARKET ONES ARE FOR STOCK AND 33 TO 35 M CARBS NONE FOR 28 ??????

push harder, theyll go. ive heard of 34's fitting into stock boots with enough effort.

If you need to, you can take them off the box and boil them in hot water for about 5 minutes. Then they should stretch to fit them. I did this to my K&N filters and it worked great.

Warm the boots with a hand-held hair dryer first.

I just cut mine and they fit perfectly. It's been over 5 years now and it's going strong. Cut it right after where the clamp sits on the carb side....but you got to have reed spacers. That's why I had to cut mine. The boots were too long.
