GYTWYPT Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 I have an excellent set of RZ cases and RZ tranny. I am wanting a good set of banshee cases to put a spare motor together with. Quote
Holyman Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 There is so little difference between the 2, there is really no sense to insist on a banshee case and most guys will usemost of the RZ tranny because of the better shift forks and gearing ratios. Quote
broke Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 Holyman is right. I have actually spent quite a bit of money just to get the shift forks and drum out of an RZ. Keep the RZ stuff and sell off the clusters to make some money back. I "think" there really isn't anything different to running RZ cases, Hell you can even add a tach if you wanted. So are you looking to trade all that for a set of Banshee case? If you are, PM me. Quote

If you set Banshee cylinders on RZ cases and take a look under the cylinder in the front of the motor you will notice that the rubber water plug that is on the bottom of the banshee cylinder is kinda hanging out there in the middle of nowhere. I just didnt want to get a good 4mm motor together and have that thing blow out. As for a tach you just need some older banshee cases. They still have the holes for the tach. I think they would be before 95. If you can take a look at that set up and let me know what you think. Later Joe Quote

Are they numbers matching cases? As far as my end i am talking about very good RZ cases and the RZ tranny gear clusters. No forks or drum. Let me know thanks Joe Quote
