why dont you just go to a dealership, they can order them for you. buying them from yamaha will probally run you the same as a full set of fullbores, and they are much nicer IMO.

wont it cost just as much from a dealership as it would from yamy? and do fullbores come in the black like the 04? im not going to buy a set soon but when i do thats what id want.

the 04 black is only carbon fiber stickers. their are websites where you can buy carbon fiber sticker sheets, and do whatever with them.

ahha no. i was asking cause i always wondered if you could buy the oem plastics for recent years. and that is something id want to look into when its time for the new plastics

yeah.....stock tank plastic with all the foam and stuff costs 25-30 from the dealer, stock LE carbon plastic costs 250 or so.......just dont take a powerwasher to it

the "carbon fiber" is not a sticker, but printed on the plastic. I have washed my many times with a pressure washer and never once has it damaged the plastic. The radiator plastic is about $65, and the tank cover is acutally two pieces at about $60 each side, here in cali. It might be cheaper where you live.

I beg to differ. It is too a sticker. Ill bet you one hundered quadrillion dollars plus my banshee that it's a sticker. We have a high powered pressure washer and when I was washing it one day, I got too close and the shit pealed right off. So I said fuck it, and I pealed the rest of it off.
