97banshee350 Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 this happened about 5 months ago. we were all at a little sand pit near my house me, and coulpe of other guys one guy with a big bear 4x4. we were riding around and my friend mike with the big bear wanted to buy my shee off of me cuz he was sick of having a 4x4. so he rides over to me i was stoped and i sadi to him are you sure you want to buy it, i mean u havent even test rided it to see if you like it. so he goes okay so he jumps on my shee and im around on his 4x4 big bear betten it up testin it to see what it can do in four wheel drive and i happened to look over and all i see is my buddy mike on my banshee with the front end streight up and crash....he flies off the back of the quad on his back and the banshee nailed the grab bar so hard it made the subframe crack streight up so my seet flies off and the back end of my quad it stright up when it was sitting flat on the ground...then to top that off after it hit and cracked the subframe it rolled twice. it figured always my luck he did almost $700 worth of damage to it, i had to get a new steering stem, bars, grab bar, and i had to have the frame welded back to the right postition which its still bent out of shape. luckly the kid eventally payed me back but still i rather it not have happened. The one (and only) time my Banshee has been tipped over while it was in my posession was by my buddy when he was doing doughnuts in the sand.
