minishee Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 i have been looking into buying some atf type F oil to run, but i don;t know what brand to use. the only kind i can find is advanced auto brand wich seems pretty cheap. i found type FA but i don;t know if its the same. this stuff seems very thin, almost liek water so if anyone has any advice or coments let me know thx mini Quote
RBD Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Any brand type F will work just fine..., also I like to mix it with a 10-40W motor oil. two parts of ATF with one part 10-40W. Quote

minishee Posted March 16, 2005 Author Report Posted March 16, 2005 how often do you guys change it and any specific brand better than another? Quote
wesw Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 it really depends on how much you ride and how hard you are on your clutch i would say 2-3 month of causal riding maybe. if your hard on it dragging and whatnot more often its cheap stuff so your not out much Quote
