ATF type F

i have been looking into buying some atf type F oil to run, but i don;t know what brand to use. the only kind i can find is advanced auto brand wich seems pretty cheap. i found type FA but i don;t know if its the same. this stuff seems very thin, almost liek water so if anyone has any advice or coments let me know thx

Any brand type F will work just fine..., also I like to mix it with a 10-40W motor oil. two parts of ATF with one part 10-40W.

i found advanced auto parts brand, and vavoline FA. the FA says use where type f is required?

i run atf type f all the time.

 

bought some cheap stuff for the gas station while back worked good. change it regularly helps

I use atf type f in my 2001 since i bought it new and it works great never had any problems

how often do you guys change it and any specific brand better than another?

it really depends on how much you ride and how hard you are on your clutch i would say 2-3 month of causal riding maybe. if your hard on it dragging and whatnot more often

its cheap stuff so your not out much
