Meat Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 These wires\plugs are located where ? near the carbs ? Quote
BigRed350x Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Did the wires come off your TORS system? Did you disconnect the box that the TORS system plugs into? Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted March 13, 2005 Author Report Posted March 13, 2005 ya i disconnected the tors. it was near the carbs but up more. i know there are 2 things for the carbs but i duno where the 3rd came from. and that lil black box on the left is for the tors? Quote
chris642 Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 (edited) come on guys??? 338312[/snapback] your description is horrible. the black box is the tors. when disconnecting it, there shouldnt be a green wire unplugged, the tors wires are yellow/black and black. while your at it, disconnect the tors sensors from the throttle and parking break. i suggest putting some caulk or something where the wire comes out of the thumb throttle body to prevent dust and crap getting in there and making a mess. maybe take some pictures, if its running it isntyour stator, you just probally disconnected the wrong wire. see those yellow/black and black wires, just disconnect them, and you see that last one by it self on the left side of the pic, that leads to the box, disconect it then take out the box. i left the wire that is wrapped in the mess of wires just laying there, its not hooked up to anything so you dont have to worry about it getting messed up. It gives you the specs for every thing on the banshee you need to know. Quote
chris642 Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 (edited) have you considered that the carb could be not be tuned right? Edited March 13, 2005 by chris642 Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted March 13, 2005 Author Report Posted March 13, 2005 no. the quad quit running while i was riding with my old stock carbs. i swear it has something to do with electrcal. if theres no lights when you try and start it it cant have anything to do with the carb Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted March 13, 2005 Author Report Posted March 13, 2005 k guys. i pulled my stator cover off and everything in there looks brand new. nothing is wet or anything. its all super dry and such and the wires are super clean. it looks like it just came out of the box. so i dont think that is the problem. i also finished pulling out all the tors stuff. im probly going to take it to my mechanic to take a look at it next weekend if i get my stuff for my carb this week. i was thinking that could my spark plug wires have gone bad causing no spark? Quote
chris642 Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 did you do a spark test? if you have any firends with banshees, take thier coils and try them on your bike, but dont mess their shee up! Quote
