your description is horrible. the black box is the tors. when disconnecting it, there shouldnt be a green wire unplugged, the tors wires are yellow/black and black. while your at it, disconnect the tors sensors from the throttle and parking break. i suggest putting some caulk or something where the wire comes out of the thumb throttle body to prevent dust and crap getting in there and making a mess. maybe take some pictures, if its running it isntyour stator, you just probally disconnected the wrong wire.

see those yellow/black and black wires, just disconnect them, and you see that last one by it self on the left side of the pic, that leads to the box, disconect it then take out the box. i left the wire that is wrapped in the mess of wires just laying there, its not hooked up to anything so you dont have to worry about it getting messed up.

ya i have all my tors removed. the quad isnt running so thast why im asking. im doign my best to describe it as well as i can. when i try and start it with my lights on the lights wont even flicker. is this due to a bad stator or maybe a broken wire?

Get yourself a manual and a multimeter and go to town on it.Its really not that hard once you get to know your shee.I have a genuine Yamaha manual and it is great. It gives you the specs for every thing on the banshee you need to know.

k guys. i pulled my stator cover off and everything in there looks brand new. nothing is wet or anything. its all super dry and such and the wires are super clean. it looks like it just came out of the box. so i dont think that is the problem. i also finished pulling out all the tors stuff. im probly going to take it to my mechanic to take a look at it next weekend if i get my stuff for my carb this week. i was thinking that could my spark plug wires have gone bad causing no spark?
