I live in Rhode Island and we got a few inches of snow the other night, so me and a few buddies did some snow-road riding. I took off with my bike and the throttle was real hard to push, and when i let off the bike would stall, at WOT it was fine though, any info guys? i have a big riode tomorrow and need help quick, have to go do mods in the snow

sounds like the good ole' stock carbs. switch to some aftermarket carbs and that will fix it

Had a similar problem a few weeks ago. Spray your carbs, cables & thumb throttle with carb cleaner. It gets rid of any moisture around them. That's what was making mine stick.

Take your bike in the garage and get your carbs warmed up before your ride. That seemed to fix my problem.

Sometimes the rubber gaskets in the carb caps let the moisture in and it freezes almost instantly on the slide from the velocity of the incoming air, not a good thing. I had a friend that had just washed his Banshee and took it down his gravel drive to pick up the mail when he opened it up and it stuck like that, wasn't pretty.
