PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 They look like they stick way and will burn my legs is this an issue? Just letting you know this is the first thing I ask myself. 337404 Yea, I figure if I get a set down the road I Quote
Fireman-hott Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 They wont burn your legs. If your fenders aren't race cut you will have to trim out an area for them. Like I have said in other forums, I ride in trails and if I dont burn my legs off doing that then I doubt you'll have any problems. Quote
Minkia38 Posted March 12, 2005 Author Report Posted March 12, 2005 thanks for the tips - these updates will be done monday - so any more - now is the time! Quote
RNBRAD Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 Another nice option I would like to see is polished or plain silencers. Chromer should be able to polish those out pretty easy and also make you guys a little more money on that option. Man I love options. Quote
racer Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Trinity 337418 and you can get em in stainless. Quote

stclark816 Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 whats the big deal about stainless? 338029 Ive been wondering that this whole time.. But I didnt wanna ask........ Quote
03bansheeLE Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 i guess with stainless, you dont have to worry about the chrome getting scratched off cause you can just re polish the stainless but id prefer chrome anyways. i agree about he multimedia section on the site and you should post a video's section on the rocket pipes website and put some videos of guys with rocket pipes on there. just an idea. RNBRAD Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Ive been wondering that this whole time.. But I didnt wanna ask........ 338051 Stainless steel is so much better than chromed mild steel it's not even funny. It's a lot stronger, It won't rust, chip or peel and will maintain a chrome appearance for the life of the pipe with no maintenance needed to maintain it. The pipes will basically look like they rolled off the assembly line 10 years or more down the road and should actually last a life time not just your banshee's. Just think how many pipes you see that rust from the inside out. Water is just part of the biproduct of combustion and plays havoc on the inside of your pipes. I just think people should expect this quality. I know you can't find anything less than stainless or titanium on sport bikes and a lot of 4 stroke quads. Why should we settle for less on our banshee's. It should be a market standard bar none. Just never made a lick of sense to me to have it any other way. Quote
Fireman-hott Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Damn I've been out all day, and was scrolling through was gonna reply about the stainless but RNBrad said more than enough. Stainless is the only way to go really, hence the reason I'd really like to get them done in stainless instead. Quote
superchicken Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 absolutely aggree with a video section, maybe linked to the pics of the banshees.like for example, click on the pic of my shee on the site and will show you a video of me on her Quote
Minkia38 Posted March 14, 2005 Author Report Posted March 14, 2005 i like the sound/video ideas.... now does anyone here have these items?? would appreciate them! since I sold the pipes off my own banshee, i cant do it Quote
Minkia38 Posted March 15, 2005 Author Report Posted March 15, 2005 Problem with stainless is that it costs 3x as much I'll sell a set for 3x the price Quote
RNBRAD Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 Problem with stainless is that it costs 3x as muchI'll sell a set for 3x the price 339153 Yep, just add your cost over the price of the regular steel. Rememeber though you don't have to pay for chroming with stainless, just the polishing. Though all your chrome pipes have to be polished anyway. Also add the expense for the added level of difficulty and I don't think were talking 3x the price of the total package. Lets be optimistic, lets make it happen. Offer both types of steel if your worried about price being a major factor. Quote
