broke Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 I just sold some on Ebay and I'm trying to figure out the best way to ship them. Boxes in the shape and size are pretty hard to come by. Quote
ledofthezep Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Go to your local Wally world & ask them for a big box, then throw in the fenders, pack around them with newspaper & ship it. With as light as it will be, shipping shouldn't be much at all. Quote

stclark816 Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 I shipped some rears through the post office, used a big box from a shop fan. Only cost me 20 bones to ship them priority mail. Seemed pretty cheap to me. Quote

. Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 I used the boxes I got my front and rear plastics in, nice and skinny and they fit perfectly. Only problem was that when I used the 2 boxes taped together as one box....it was oversized and was a mint to ship.... Luckily the fenders I was selling were cut in the front and I could stuff them all in one box......was a hell of a lot cheaper. Quote
KoooPSD Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Just slap the shipping sticker right onto the undernegth of the fender...it'll make it there... Quote

I haven't even found a box yet, so I just entered in the size of the plastics themselves and added a few pounds for packing. USPS want's $47.06 to ship from IL to MI. It seemed kind of nuts to me. Thanks for al the ideas. Quote
NYUK Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 a big box will cost you an arm and a leg to ship. stretch wrap the shit out of them. a roll is like 12 bucks. usps will charge less than 20 bucks, they weigh nothing. believe me i ve shipped 30 or 40 sets. Quote
