FIRST BANSHEE Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 The mark on the case is the split between the two case halfs. 328670[/snapback] exactly Quote
SHEEBANSAVAGE Posted February 24, 2005 Author Report Posted February 24, 2005 So you guys are talking about around 2-3 o'clock position, just up from the pick up coil or down from the upper stator attach point...Or is it exactly where the case starts to bend to the right at the 3 o'clock position (ref stator) Sorry for the stupid questions Quote
RBD Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 The reference (case timing mark) point is the where the upper case and lower case meet. Quote
SHEEBANSAVAGE Posted February 25, 2005 Author Report Posted February 25, 2005 Thanks guys...I will look into that tomorrow...any other pointers to give out? I have already installed it once and when I ran the engine the screws backed out of the pick up coil and then it hit the stator and then the bike died... I had to pick up a ricky stator pick up coil off of ebay and I should be attempting this mod again next week with some modifications to the pick up coil mounting holes... Thx again Quote
Blacksmith Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Just use a little locktite on those screws, they will stay in then. Quote
