I am also located in Rochester NY. Please let me know Thanks! Jeff Quote
Big Blue Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 a 600 engine would work but i would consider finding something in the 1000 range even a hyabusa motor. Quote

KoooPSD Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 Screw it........just go LS1 corvette motor... Quote
Tungsten Posted February 3, 2005 Author Report Posted February 3, 2005 Screw it........just go LS1 corvette motor... 317109[/snapback] Hehe, I dont think it would do anything but spin or wheelie. Not a bad Idea though, haha Quote
SANDSTAR Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 A hayabusa would tear that little rail apart. Looks like a cbr 600 would fit right in. If you go with a hayabusa, you better upgrade that suspention. Nice lookin mini rail! Quote
tree shooter Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Just go big and get and ls1 or a northstar v8. or break out the big bucks for twin turbos!! Quote

BigRed350x Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 I would go with Busa engine myself, but I am a fat ass so... Quote
wesw Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 my suggestion puta 3.8 turbo charged engine out of a buick regal or grand national. when the boost hits say good bye Quote
Tungsten Posted February 4, 2005 Author Report Posted February 4, 2005 Guys, I really think a 600 would be fine...... Anything over 160hp would be overkill, It would just abuse everything else on the sand rail. I am sure a busa engine would be fun though. Quote

Guest nightmare Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 I use to have a sandrail. It had a Volkswagon 1600 dual port, with dual Delorto carbs. It would flat fly. They don't weigh anything. The steerring brakes was the most fun. Quote
