  1. Hey guys, I need to get some bushings for my buggy, The tube for the arms is 1". Could anyone measure either the i.d. of the a arm tubes or the o.d. of the bushings for the banshee? Thanks!!!! Jeff
  2. Well, I'll tell ya what.... Its not easy. You might want to invest in some ramps. But this is how I have done it.... 1. Lift the front end up so the banshee is resting on its back grab bar. 2. Wheel it to the truck and then lower the front end onto the tail gate. 3. Lift the back end of the Banshee up and push her in. I have only done this a few times, After a long ride its pretty hard getting it into the truck.
  3. Nice! I am sure they go for more in CA because of the dunes and all, Why did they have such an old left over?
  4. Nice! I am sure you will love it. Does your RM have aftermarket pipes on it? I would have though that would be louder.
  5. Well I bought it, I'll be picking it up Sunday for $450.00 it has everything but the fuel pump. It even has the ram air box. It makes 108hp at the crank and revs to 14,000 rpm! So once the rail is done i'll be all set.... That is if it goes in the sand rail. I was also thinking about making a 1/4 Banshee, not 100% sure yet haha. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
  6. Wazz up? I have a chance to buy a 2001 TT600 engine for my Mini Sand Rail. It has everything it needs to run and is going to cost me $450.00, It makes about 110hp stock. What do you guys think? Is this a good engine? Or should I stick with the big four (Honda Suzuki Yamaha and Kawasaki?)
  7. I was thinking about a Sled Engine, But I would just like the sound of the newer 600's and the revs, Plus nothing beats shifting.
  8. Guys, How much do youi want for those engines you are talking about? This is the ST2 Long Travel. I don't think I'll need that because i'll be on mostly trails....
  9. Guys, I really think a 600 would be fine...... Anything over 160hp would be overkill, It would just abuse everything else on the sand rail. I am sure a busa engine would be fun though.
  10. Hehe, I dont think it would do anything but spin or wheelie. Not a bad Idea though, haha
  11. The rail is going to be around 600ish lbs....... I'd think a 120-140hp engine will be plenty fast.
  12. Good luck, Thats a pretty bike.
  13. This is my Banshee with the stock rear and +2+1 A-arms....... Later on I might get the wider axle, but its fine for now.
  14. Hey guys! I am going to be building a Sand Rail like the one pictured. Right now I am gathering parts for it. I am looking into getting a complete 600+cc Crotch Rocket engine for it. I want atleast 120hp I just wanted to knwo if you know of any good places to buy one other than e-bay. I am also located in Rochester NY. Please let me know Thanks! Jeff
  15. In New York people can't smoke at bars, work or pretty much anywhere. And i love it. I don't need to be smelling other peoples smoke.
  16. Hey body lifts are fun to install! haha This is my truck with a lift, Have fun with it!
  17. Maybe i'll let her ride it with me on the back. I am just scared she will flip it. This is my banshee.... Not a powerhouse but it does have a few mods. I know its light in the front with my 170lbs on it, I'd hate to see what it does with 100lbs on it. haha
  18. My gf of 5 years wants to learn how to ride my banshee.... Now she has never driven any off road type of bike. She does not even know how to drive a manual car. Im not sure if the Banshee is a good bike to learn on. What do you guys think? Let her go at it? Or buy a 400ex and let her learn on that?
  19. Are you okay? I can send you a nice PM to make up for it? How does that sound?
  20. I went though this for a lonnnnnnnnnnng time. Un bolt your calipers and hold them above the mastercyclinder, Then point the bleeders straight up in the air and bleed them.
  21. Sounds more like a total lack of maintaining your ride. If you keep a eye on things you can take care of them before they become BIG problems.
  22. oh and it looks like I will be going through the "SONYMA" program Which means I get 5% financing, and $5,000 grant money going twards the closing cost. I guess you can get as low as 4.25%, but I made to much money for that
  23. Yeah, I can't wait, Apartment life sucks!!!!
  24. Its a 65 with a worked 289, I love that car. I have had it since I was 17.
  25. I work 54 hours a week and go to college 4 hours a week. I am also starting my own business. My girlfriend is great, she supports everything I do. I plan on buying her a used Raptor in the future. This is my mustang
