Is the pro-design ez-drain plate just a plate with with a allen bolt in it? I would like to take my stock plate and do it myself if this is so.

that's the way it looks to me. i guess it's mainly so you don't have to pull the rad hose to drain the system?! it's not worth the $$ as far as i'm concerned, unless your looking to add some looks to your shee. :confused:

That's exactly what it is and I've said before it would be cool to add some fins to it which would help the cooling factor a tad (I think CEJ was looking into this). Of course it's not visible as far as looks go.

well that plastic cover goes over it, so clearance would be an issue. but if you machine a new cover, with a portion removed for some big polished cooling fins, thatd be an idea. :headbang:
