champ6966 Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 im the second owner of my shee and bike shop didnt know much about it what im wondering is if its obvious when shees been ported and and to what extent ive herd that theres three common stages of most port jobs and a friend looked at it and said it has a mild port job is it true about the three stages of porting? thanks ( i can take pics if that would help) Quote
stu Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 unless your used to riding banshees with/without porting I doubt you'd be able to tell just by riding her. just take the carbs and intake off and shine a light down the intake. Have a look at the size of the intake ports and especially the width of the bridge in the middle. If it looks like thay have been ground down....its ported! If you cant tell from that post some pics here and the HQ will let you know Hell post some pics anyway! stu Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 post some pictures of the intakes. we will be able to tell you if its ported or not. Quote
