Ngelati there's a buncha LT250R pics here:

As banshee tuner said, they don't have the top end power as a Banshee but make up for it with more bottom end and torque, so may be better suited to an MX track (alot will depend on the rider). Compared to a Honda 250R the LT doesn't have quite as good front suspension, and the chain adjustment is as bad or worse than the Banshee's. The early LT's had motor probs ('85 and '85) but the later years were better, BTW '92 was the last year they were produced here in the US.

Anyway, if it's a good deal I'd check it out and see how it looks.

that motor is not powervalved. I don't really remember the chain adjustment being as bad as my banshee's. Loosen a few bolts up and then rotate the cam and walla, but it's been awhile so I could've forgotten.

I think it would be a fun XC machine. I'd like to have one again and use it for that.

There's a little more about LT's at www.macdizzy.com, try this link:

And BTW sredish, I don't know for sure how the LT's powervalves work, but a battery isn't a necessity, just look at the vacuum-operated valves on aftermarket (like Cheetah, T-Rex, etc.) Banshee jugs...
