bansheeryder_69 Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 I want to raise my handlebars preferably about 5" or more cause i'm a pretty tall guy and Its a pain in the @$$ to ride hunched over all day. What size should i get and do i need to do any work to my cables and what handlebars should i get. I don't want the crossbar so i was thinking pro-tapers or tag t2's. Which one is better or would you guys prefer? Quote

sredish Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 Pull out your RockyMountainATV catalog (if you have one) or you might find it on their site, but they have a chart that lists the different bends and how much they're raised and the specs. Look through and find one that comes up the amount you want. Rox Risers are a good addition to if your tall, they'll give you some height and adjustability. You can probably find that bend spec chart on the Renthal website to now that I think about it. Just some thoughts. Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 I got the renthal bahsee bend ones and they are the same as the stock ones and the specs show them to be the highest. You might have to get a longer stem. Quote
NMBANSHEE Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 One way to make it a little taller if you don't mind keeping th 7/8" bars with the crossbar is to pick up a Set of MSR Dominator bars ATV bend. They are about an inch & 3/4" taller than stock banshee bars and taller than any other bars that I've seen. Rocky Mountain has them for $33.99 PN=11-0469 Nice bars and cheap Quote
banshee tuner Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 Iam running the dominators and love them. They are taller and wider and you have more leverage to steer and can sit up straight. They are real shiny also. Quote
