plug9992 Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Hi, I'd like to know if it's necessary to remove the TORS system if I install a twist throttle? I don't have any problem with the tors, so if it's possible, I 'll just replace the harsh thumb throttle. Finally, ifI can do it, what about the small switch on the throtthle? Any suggestion? Quote
05bansh Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 Im not 100% sure of this but.... I dont see why you couldnt leave the tors on and install a twist grip. Quote
kw04 Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 you sure you want a twist most people i know will not put them on a banshee. Quote
SANDSTAR Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 Yeah, man. Rethink that twist idea unless you are a great dirtbike rider. Quote
banshee tuner Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Yes you need the kit so the shee will idle and it is worth it just to get the clutter off the bike. I run the motion pro twist throttle and I love it. If your tired of having a sore thumb and arm after 30 minutes of riding trash that thumb throttle. Sure it's takes some getting used to but I had never had a twist throttle until I put mine on but I love it and have never been dumped because of the twist. Quote
