Maverick302 Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 (edited) Check us out New name is Missing in Action, but there are no demo songs on that name's account. I am the bassist for the band, just trying to get some opinions. The songs that are on there are just early recordings, not any of our better stuff. Tell me what you think. Thanks. iceman Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 A little light for me, but I know that your music would appeal to alot of other people. Quote

Blue Duece Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 a little generic, hook could be tighter, drummer could fill less, vocals lack vibe, not bad though over all...i give it a 5...... Quote

ledofthezep Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Clean it up a bit & get your vocalist to project with a sound that is not soo un-easy...right now he sounds like a hesitant, scared Ben Folds. Is he reading the lyrics as he's singing?--if so; memorize the shit and put some feeling behind it. Not trying to be harsh, but with music, any criticism is positive. Other than that, practice, practice, & practice some more. The more you guys practice, the more things will come together & start to click. You got a pretty good foundation, just keep working your asses off & it will eventually pay off. I'm a musician & vocalist myself...you wouldn't believe how far I've came from when I started, all it takes is countless hours of practice & dedication. Nothing comes easy. Rock on! Quote
Maverick302 Posted January 10, 2005 Author Report Posted January 10, 2005 (edited) He is playing rythm guitar, too. Definately better now than it was before. Thanks for the comments and criticism, more is appreciated. I will bug my guitar player if he doesn't put the new songs on the new name's account by this weekend...I'll post it if he does. johnnytalent Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Sounds decent, but I'm into heavy shit. I live in Delaware, not too far from you. Alot of my friends play in local bands. You should try playing some of the clubs down here on Main st. in Newark. My boy is a multimedia wizard, mixing, video, everything. If you want something done than e-mail me at [email protected]. Newark is a tight ass college town. All kinds of bars, clubs, and women. Fridays, and saturday nights, you would think you were at the real Mardis Gras. It's pretty cool, you should check it out. The college girls would really dig your music. You could probablly drop more drawers than exlax. Quote
