2K1Banshee350 Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 im thinking about getting another banshee and want to know what pipes are best for a stock engine. thanks Quote
banshee76179 Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Any aftermarket pipes will work.. especially over stock... So U can't go wrong! Quote
2K1Banshee350 Posted December 24, 2004 Author Report Posted December 24, 2004 well i kinda wante to know which gains the most hp, i know stock pipes suck and any pipe is a big improvement, but i want the best one. mainly i want top end power. on toomeys site it shows 53hp for there tr6.do u think it adds that much? some how i dont think so Quote
wesw Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 t6 dont react well to porting which is where the real power comes from get some cpi or rockets for top end Quote
2K1Banshee350 Posted December 24, 2004 Author Report Posted December 24, 2004 well like i said im not porting, so if tr6s are the best for a stock engine i'll go with those. Quote
05bansh Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 trinity has a deal going on right now on thier pipes. check out the jetting/exhaust section. Quote
lvracer36 Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 t6 will work of w/ porting, but def go t5 or cpi if you getting into big bore draggers (or get drag pipes ). Trinitys deal is hard to beat right now, I have FMF q-series right now, they have no top-end, when I bought the bike it had them, changing to T5, because have more mods then stock. Had T5s back in 1989 on my 89 shee and they ripped, also bought a banshee couple years ago and they had them. Quote
2K1Banshee350 Posted December 25, 2004 Author Report Posted December 25, 2004 like i said im only getting pipes thats IT. hety lvracer whats faster ur yfz,ds or banshee and tell me if they have mods Quote
chris642 Posted December 26, 2004 Report Posted December 26, 2004 i would go with the t6s if i were you. obviously your not going for full on top end because you dont want porting, so CPI's or any in frame drag pipe will make it harder for riding in trails. i had the t6s on my bike when it was stock and i loved them because they pulled hard from top to bottom. the seat of my pants tells me they make more power, and deffainly more bottom end then the t5s. if i had not got it ported, i would still have them. they sound really sweet too!! they are a really good mix of killer top end and strong bottom end.
