port repairs

is there any way i can repair the worn area where the o- rings sit. i'm getting lots of leakage from around this area ?

i guess u coud tig it up then grind them down smooth.or maybe j-b weld and sand?

Are we talking O-rings from a cool head? I would use JB weld and epoxy the head on.

yes have tried new o rings , went up to the next size in cross section,still had oil leaking outta the exhausts

sorry guys i'm talking about the exhaust port were the exhaust fits the cylinder

Yep, but if you have that much oil coming out, you may have another problem.

cheap fix= high temp silicone. costly fix= machinist to weld on them them ,machine them back down to specs.

I'd use the silicone for the exhaust as well. JB weld won't stand the temp of the exhaust.
