That was prolly about18 to 20 yrs ago..Vinne and Darrell was a little older than I was..Just Imagine Darrel /Vinne 16 or 17 yrs old jamming.. Man! Them were the days.. So, I guess U can say I was and still am a fan.. I was jaming to them B4 they were even thought of on the record scene.. Man, It's so hard to believe that people r so fucked in the head out there..That they would actually do stupid shit like that..They R having a vigual sp? tonight at the club that he and vinne owned in Dallas "The Clubhouse". They are by far the best band I've ever heard or saw. The local peckerwood radio stations are doing Dime tributes tonoght. Which, do't get me wrong, is an awsome thing to do. The only problem is that any time I've requested them, they do not get played, and now they're playing his songs. That's kinda shitty. It's also funny how the dj tonight siad that she's all upset, and doesn't know what to do, but any time she's ranted on and on about other faggot bands she likes, she's never mentioned Pantera, Damage, or Superjoint. Even when Damage Plan has been in town, she's says the band and the venue. I think there'll be a lot of dickheads out there that, that just want to feel "in". Give me your thoughts. Quote
sinister shee Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 damn right! i've been a pantera fan ever since i can remember even before "cowboys from hell" when they were like a glam rock band like motley crew and shit. the shit hole local radio sations never played there shit unless it was like background music for a promo or something, now all day today they were playing the music and taking calls from listeners about what happened. where were they when pantera decided to split up because they were'nt getting the public attention and radio play they so rightfully deserved. long live pantera!!!!! and dime bag darrel will forever be missed!!!
