tithead Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 ok, my friends has just got a tri-z 350. he has challenged me to a drag race and we put 50 sheets on this. i thought it was a good idea at the time but when i got home i thought to myself i dont know that much about them, apart from they are easy to flip. surely, if they are easy to flip, they must have loads of power?????? my mate says his tri z is fully loaded on mods. when i asked him what it had on it he didnt reply so im guessing he is talking shit to put me off...... theres no way im going to back out of this race, i want to tear him a new ass hole!!!!! my mods are in my sig. if you take the tri-z as being fully modded, what are my chances????? sorry if this is a dumb question, im not that clued up on the tri-z, and even though its a smaller bike, looks can be deceiving! tithead Quote
Southside Motorsports Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 I would say it will be very close....he may get you...it's hard to say, You have a huge advantage on the holeshot unless his tri-z has an extended swingarm. Quote
locogato11283 Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 if he can ride it you may be in trouble. they weigh alot less and can run pretty good. oh well, give it your best shot. let us know how it turns out. Quote
brock_fuzzy_69 Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 i thougth a tri Z was a 250?????? Quote

tithead Posted December 6, 2004 Author Report Posted December 6, 2004 yeah im a guy, what was all that about? were you drunk? Quote
oldbanshee Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 If he knows how to ride it,he'll beat you. You need a portjob to go with those mods. If he can't launch it right, or has to get out of it you might stand a chance. Quote
FlatTrackinIt55 Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 im with roostthrower, throw on a 14 or even a 15 if you could experiment with the 15 and see how good you could launch it.. how long is the race gonna be?? Quote
stclark816 Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Could be in trouble. When my banshee was stock, I raced a tri z and it was very very close. I beat him off the line, then he came back and he was maxed out and I still had another gear. Good thing I had a 6th or I would have been toast. If all else fails and he's gonna beat you, run him off the rode. Quote

TRI-Z 250 Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 It is hard to tell. I have raced many banshees and won some and lost some. Depends on the mods and the riders. Quote
