I took my carb to my small local shop and they tested the needle and seet sp? and it would not hold pressure so i have a new one on the way. I think that was causing the dial-a-jet to suck too much gas. Ill try it out tomorrow and hopfuly that was my problem. The tri-z is liquid cooled for people that wanted to know.

would a bad head gasket make it run like it is rich or bad base gasket? How can i tell? It is pissing me off. I have cleaned everything, adjusted everything and it still runs like it is rich.

I have a new ngk cap and the filter is clean and new plug. Im starting to think maybe the dia-a-jet is going wacky. I was reading their article and it says if it gets clogged with dirt it will make the machine run rich. All it is, is a little black box and i have no clue on how to see if it is dirty. It looks like the box is 1 peice.

I had the cylinder ported and polished and the head milled, reeds, DG exhaust, modded airbox, dial-a-jet and yes the 110 is sunoco race gas.

It smokes like the average 2 stroke. It does it when i hammer on it. I have gone up and down with the jetting and it still does it. I forgot to mention i also have a dial-a-jet on it too.
