I dought it's worth it unless you cylinders need resleeved or something. I've never ridden one, but I just can't see it being worth it. Quote
BigRed350x Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 I rode a friends banshee that had a 4mm stroker kit and was bored 70 over. It was something right around 400cc and had a crazy bottom end for a banshee, and when you got on the pipe it was nutz. Quote
smokin350 Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 I HAVE A 404 BIGBORE PORTED AND A BUNCH OF OTHER GOODIES AND IT FLAT OUT RIPS AND A SHITLOAD MORE OF LOW END YOU COULD BE IN 3RD GEAR GOING 1ST GEAR SPEED AND NAIL AND IT WILL TAKE OFF LIKE YOUR IN 1ST GRANTED I ONLY WIEGH A BUCK FORTY. SO I THOUGHT IT WAS WORTH IT. Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 in mx racing you will need about 80% suspention and 20% motor. Quote
smokin350 Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 YEA LEADFOOT'S ABSOLUTLY CORRECT IN MX SUSPENTION IS80% I WOULD WORRY ABOUT THAT BEFORE ANY MOTOR WORK. Quote
Machwon Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 I'd buy a +4 crank first. They do have better bottom end power and about a 1/3 the price as a new 400 monoblock kit. YEA LEADFOOT'S ABSOLUTLY CORRECT IN MX SUSPENTION IS80% I WOULD WORRY ABOUT THAT BEFORE ANY MOTOR WORK. 288348[/snapback] Quote
