Otis Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 I found a puddle of gas inside the air box. It was redish in color(i think it was red from the K-n-N filter oil) but anyway. I know i have to adjust the float bowls, cause i'm leaking from the overflow tube, but dont understand why there was a puddle in the air box...any suggestions?? Quote
sandornothing Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 My wifes banshee does that when i stand it up on its end on the grab bar. I sop it up with a rag, start it up and go and its fine. If that is the reason why then your OK. Outside of that im not sure. Quote
MotulMonsta Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 I could be an indication of worn reeds. Pressure from the crank case seeps past and blows back into the carbs. Or maybee your riding wheelies too much. I wouldn't worry so much about it. Does it smell like fuel? does it feel like fuel? Could just be oil from your filter. Quote

I didnt even think about that....I did have it on up on the grab bar to wash it it off...duh...well at least it was an easy fix (this time..haha) thanks.. I like the "too many wheelies" thing..i'm gonna use that one.... Quote
