There's a few of them at St.Anthonys every now and again. Kawasaki Mach IV is the bike the engine came out of. Amazingly fast. And from what I've been told when I've inquired about those engines is the people that have them, "know what they have" and are typically in no hurry to sell it.

i think the ones i saw had cdi and 3 coils. its crazy lookin seein 3 of all that shit.

172HP at the crank. Yeah, but piston port engines have no low end.

 

The earlier triples (250, 350, 400) had points the later ones (500 and 750 and a couple others) had electronic. My '72 Kawasaki F7 175 (single cylinder dirtbike) has electronic. It works so well, I don't know why kawi didn't put it on everything starting in '72.
