tithead Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 will stock yfz450 a arms fit straight on the banshee? just thought id ask before i take the arms off the shee and find out they dont fit! Quote
bigboybanshee Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 I'm pretty sure it's not a direct fit, you'll have to do some fabbing if you want to do it. There is a guy on here that did put 450 arms on his banshee and it looked great. Quote
decon Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 (edited) man, i had that same idea too . just go for it, and see if they fit or not. Edited November 12, 2004 by dEcon Quote
stclark04 Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 PM svtjames, he did it to his banshee. He had this frame modified I believe. I PMed him about it a while back about it cuz I was thinkin about doing it. His looks great, sits awful low and is very wide. Quote

frocashmoney24 Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 yea, it looked real good, but i think he needed long shocks, cause the stockers were so soft being stetched that far the frame almost dragged on the ground, i belive he had to do some grinding to the mounts Quote
00BANSHEE Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 Was he using the banshee or the 450 shocks? Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 top arms will fit but the bottom ones are too wide. youd have to cut and reweld the bottom ones to fit. i tried it on my cr500 banshee. youd actually have to cut a lot out of the bottom one otherwise the camber would be waaaay in at the top. bansheekid409 Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 (edited) www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30464&st=0 i was thinking the same thing. maybe just relocate the bottom shock mounts up to the frame more to make the shock length shorter. if i found a cheap set of lowers i would prolly give that a go. decon Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 (edited) anyone know what would you have to do to make the banshee sit up higher if you were to put yfz450 a-arms on it? I was thinking longer shocks. Edited November 15, 2004 by dEcon Quote
