will stock yfz450 a arms fit straight on the banshee? just thought id ask before i take the arms off the shee and find out they dont fit!

PM svtjames, he did it to his banshee. He had this frame modified I believe. I PMed him about it a while back about it cuz I was thinkin about doing it. His looks great, sits awful low and is very wide.

That's the guy I was thinking of....it did sit really low

yea, it looked real good, but i think he needed long shocks, cause the stockers were so soft being stetched that far the frame almost dragged on the ground, i belive he had to do some grinding to the mounts

top arms will fit but the bottom ones are too wide. youd have to cut and reweld the bottom ones to fit. i tried it on my cr500 banshee. youd actually have to cut a lot out of the bottom one otherwise the camber would be waaaay in at the top.

i was thinking the same thing. maybe just relocate the bottom shock mounts up to the frame more to make the shock length shorter. if i found a cheap set of lowers i would prolly give that a go. :shrugani:

anyone know what would you have to do to make the banshee sit up higher if you were to put yfz450 a-arms on it? I was thinking longer shocks.
