I was there when it happened and if you dont no what happened and just guessing then shut the f$ck up. The kid was being an a$$hole and there was several people that were having to dodge his stupid flag. The drag strip was getting wider because there was more people racing at once so back up and make the strip wider. The kid never hit him in the face with the flag he had flipped his shee over on him earlier that day. Also it happened on Saturday not Sunday hell you cant even get the damn day right. That means the next time somebody pisses me off going down the road I have the right to ram them off the road. Possibly killing them. But hey they made me mad so that makes it ok. Quote

Even if the guy on the quad didnt think he was gonna move out of the way in time, who is to say that the stupid fucker wouldnt get hit anyways? Banshees going 70 dont exactly stop on a dime. If a 4 wheeler was coming at you at a high rate of speed when it got so close any person in there right mind would move wouldnt you. My buddy had no where to go he had four wheelers beside him in the race and a lot of spectators on the side so all he could do is go straight or he would have hurt alot more people standing there that werent acting so tough. Any responsible rider will KNOW that its no contest when it comes to man vs machine. Force = mass x velocity. You can do the math yourself. Any responsible rider will not race if there is any type of obstruction on the track. If someone steps out during a race then the responsible rider should do anything possible to shut it down with out harming himself, or losing control of his machine, or hurting any spectators, which means USING THE FUCKIN BRAKES!!!!!! Go to any NHRA race. If there is any small debris on the track they stop the race and move it. If its a spectator they are ejected. There is no fucking around when you're talking that much mass and that much speed versus a human being. If the kid jumped out, yeah he's a moron. Someone should have talked to him before running him over however. The reason this pisses me off so bad is the apparent arrogance and ignorace of the persons involved. (BOTH the rider and the guy that got hit) Its shit like this that gives dick weeds like the Sierra Club fodder to shut the dunes down, and/or restrict other riding areas as well. I had a buddy that built a bat in his shop class that was about 3x a normal bat. We'd pull up, he'd get out and then smash the shit out of a snowman. One day he tackled one (he was a big guy-240+ and less than 5'10, and solid as hell...) grabbed his bat and started smashing...then he looks up, and the whole family is watching him through their window. lol. The guys shee was really nice. any who, the guys child(10-14yrs) was racing the Banshee and almost hit us twice, bc the strip was getting wider. We saw this kid put his flag in the sand, so we did the same, the child on the banshee got water thrown on him by the kid that was ran over bc the child was riding very close to everyone watching the race, and running over the flags. There was about 30 people racing at once and if the strip is that wide, what is wrong with waiting a min for the next race? Getting back to the story the kid stood by his flag to protect it I guess. The guy got on the banshee to race and decided to be a hero in a game of chicken, both parties lost. It was stupid for the kid to stand there but it is hard to side with the guy bc he whipped a shitty around the pick up i was sitting on when people were trying to flag him down, he said "What did i do?", poped a wheelie flipped off the angry mob and took of for the trails, when he could have went to the south gate to get a ranger. This shit was horrible, I never want to see anything like this again, I only rode my quad to load it on the trailer since i saw this, it is still on the trailer. This was stupid bc the local govt can decide (sp) that they do not need a sand park anymore bc people are getting hurt dying and getting DWIs out there. Dont get me wrong i think riding is great and beer is a way for God to say he wants us to have fun, but everyone should be responsible or kill themselves. This guy had a really nice Banshee, it is bright green i think it had chrome swing arms and A arms. He was out running people with wheelie bars and extended frames & what not. He did not spin around and pop a wheelie and flip anybody off either. He came back toward the accident and then about 10 guys started chasing him so he got away and went back to camp and immediately went to the north gate to the park rangers and told them what had happened.
