Otis Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 I took the bike apart in May, and had everything layed out and organized, but over the course of a few months things got moved and misplaced. I am finally getting the bike back together, and can't remember where this part goes. It's a washer like thing thats sorta rounded on one side and flat and notched around the whole, on the other Quote
fixitrod Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Can you email me a bigger pic of that to [email protected] Quote
fixitrod Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 I haven't received any emails but it looks like a washer that goes to an angle grinder to hold a grinding wheel or cutting wheel. Quote
ledofthezep Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 it looks like a washer that goes to an angle grinder to hold a grinding wheel or cutting wheel. Sure does...I dunno. Quote
SDD Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Looks kind of like the "lock" washer that hold the primary drive and water pump gears onto the crank. Those pictures make that thing look big though. The washer is fairly small. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 You guys are all wrong , its the gonjulator shim Quote
Otis Posted October 7, 2004 Author Report Posted October 7, 2004 Can you email me a bigger pic of that to [email protected] I just sent ya some larger pics. your right , it does look like that washer from the angle grinder. I wonder how it could've got mixed in with the parts from the bike though... Quote
racer Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 maybe one of the thrust washers that goes in front of or behind the clutch basket? Quote
Otis Posted October 8, 2004 Author Report Posted October 8, 2004 You guys are all wrong , its the gonjulator shim Well DUNEDEMON was right it was the gonjulator shim. i thought i got rid of it when i replaced the kanuter valve, but i guess not.... It has to be that washer thingy from my peanut grinder..cause i tore the whole damn bike apart tonight and couldnt find a place for it...i put the bike back together and kicked her over a few times, and she started right up!! let her idle for a few and everything seemed fine..so...????
