anyone else have a problem with there air filter falling off, i know my group has had it's share. i have addapters which fit over my carb intake which are held in place with set scews, and they have a flare at the end which holds the filter on like the nubs on the end of the water fittings. after our last trip to the dunes my buddys are online with this and one of them already has made and installed a set. if there are any other things out there i would like to hear about them.

okay, so no one has ever had an air filter fall off while riding, i guess you all have the air box on. i guess that is fine if you don't need the 02. just thought there might be some thing outhere the could help those inserch of power with out the short cominges. but i guess the air box is cool for some.

Today we went out and i was going down a dune when i felt like I stepped on something so i looked down and lifted my foot up just in time to see my filter go flying off my nerf bars into my tire then it kicked it up and the whole thing was freaking shredded! :shootself:

i never lost mine, but i know we have had that happen a few times. we have been lucky and stoped and seen it on the motor. and a few times we stoped and had to have some one run back to camp cause it was gone. the addapters i have realy work and are easy to make. and to keep the dirt and sand out it is well worth it.
