Hey guys, i picked up my shee from a friends house today after sitting outside for one night and a day...it was in good weather, no rain...i go to start it, runs fine, so we chagned the gearbox oil and then took it up to the trailer, maybe 20 feet away. my buddy rode it to the trailer, it was fine. When we got home and off the trailer, i went to put it in my garage, started up fine, but the throttle is wicked screwy. The thing almost seems like it has a rev-limiter on it, it will not go up past a certain point. The thing doesnt have enough power to get out of first gear and into second. What could be the problem? also, just idiling, when u give it gas, the same problem occurs.

could be a cracked reed or a fouled plug id check both if not one of those make sure the slides are in since and clean both carbs to make sure they are free of trash and lastley clean your airfilter good i have had some bikes do that very same thing with a dirty outerwear and or airfilter

could be that some one played a trick on you and set that set screw on the front of the throttle all the way tight???

its your parking brake. It could be out of adjustment or maybe just have a kink in the cable some where. Make sure that it isnt stuck on and that should fix it.

Hey, ya thanks, the parking brake was screwy. i went to put it on and the thing like stuck a little bit...but how wold the parking brake affect the throttle?

and what do i have to do to fix it?make sure the cable isnt twisted or something?

Tor = Throttle over ride. This safety system is wired to the throttle & the park brake switch when in the open circuit will activate the Tor and stop the motor from revving out.
