b_a_n_s_h_e_e
Hey guys, I haven't posted here in awhile, but I was wondering if you could help me a little. Last time I went riding I broke a skirt on my piston and so now I am going to have to split the cases to remove the pieces and replace damaged parts. I have never split the cases before, and my dog ate my Clymers , so I was wondering if you could help me by giving me some tips so I don't screw anything up... Thanks for the help!!! LeChicharon
Well this story sounds familiar... oh yeah it happened to me at dunefest Numero Uno GET A CLYMERS!!! It helped me out a bunch. While its apart adjust your shift shaft fork and your clutch arm shaft. Seal it up with Yamabond 4. Not much i can tell you except stay organised!!! I cant emphisize this enough. Youll be proud that you dont have "spare" parts when you are done. Good Luck BTW is it Rocky or Chapparal that has Manuals for 25 bucks? Chemical Castration
Take lots of pictures!!!! Take pictures of how everything is installed so you dont have alot to figure out when you put stuff back together. And you should definitely get a manual, mine costed 24 bucks from the stealer.
