ledofthezep Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 It's worth it to everyone that's got theirs cut...I don't get any muddier than before with them off & like being able to see what's going on down there. I've never heard of anyone regretting cutting theirs off. Quote
decon Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 duners and racers always cut there fenders off. if your gonna be mudding, u can buy some add-on fenders that attach to the front screws if u dont want alot of mud in your face. i dont see y not, cut em !!! Quote
BansheeKid265 Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 (edited) I just shaved my fenders, i'll let you know if it goes faster But seriously its just for looks, i cut mine right before the fender levels out, so there is just a little be of 'wing thing' BTW, i ride in the dunes so mud isn't a problem for me Edited August 19, 2004 by BansheeKid265 Quote
chipdog Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 ive heard some where that the fenders are to divert air to the motor. f*ck it i cut mine and used the fenders as dumbo ears for holloween Quote
Klotzban1 Posted September 5, 2004 Report Posted September 5, 2004 Horsepower! ....uh......I think it would most likely cut down on wind drag. I bought my race fenders as blems from Rocky Mountain ATV for around $50.00 and you cant really see the blem. I'd go that way and sell your front stocks for pocket cash. Quote
PolyKarbon Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Where can I get new plastics for under $1,000,000?!? All the shit I see is damn exspensive. Quote
Klotzban1 Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Have you tried Dennis Kirk or Rocky Mountain ATV and check out their Blems? Quote
ondeeeznuts Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 how much hp does shaving front fenders add? ????? I guess it depends on if you fill the washer fluid up Quote
