nickxc Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 official weight of the ds 650? alot!! lol i still wonder y that is the best duner. thats what every1 says Quote
locogato11283 Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 real fuckin heavy. i wouldnt ride one if it was given to me. i think they are the biggest, ugliest, slowest quads ever produced. id rather ride a 250ex than a ds650. Quote
roosthrower Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I think they got the weight down to about 460 lbs dry. Out of all the four stroke quads, I think the ds is my favorite. I sat on one in the local dealership and I liked the size of it. It would be a very comfy duner for sure. Quote
FadedDreams Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 505 is the dry weight. Its in the newest Dirtwheels where they test it against the Shee. Quote
FireHead Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 My buddy used to have one and it was very comfortable and stable at speed in the sand. I would never buy one, but I can see how they would be bad ass desert racers. Quote
roosthrower Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 505 is the dry weight. Its in the newest Dirtwheels where they test it against the Shee. the ds weighs in at 470 lbs. dry. we were both wrong, but I knew than it weighed less than 500 lbs. ds 650 specifications ps. don't believe a thing you read out of dirtwheels.
