Pt high revs....they build a pipe that puts power to the ground and not just the most hp....sometimes its not how much you have, but where its at.......I thought my Pt mids would hold me back, but when I went to Dumont, I was impressed w/ them. STill wouldn't give them up......Pt designs a great pipe w/ lots of torque where the banshee needs it the most....I've tried a lot of pipes and have to give them credit...If your not dragging, then go for them...

banchetta, have you tried PT high revs??? what do you think about them??im very happy with them but sometimes i can fell a lack of low power.

I guess i will have that solved with a .030 milled head, the +4 advance and the lightened flywheel... coming soon!!! :headbang:

shaving the head, timing at +4, and lightened flywheel will help that a lot, along w/ jetting....Jetting is mostly the cause of this, but your on the right track. If the high rev isn't enough, then get some mids...They pull hard as hell from 0 throttle all the way up....

The mids worked great at the dunes. Thought I'd get my ass kicked, but they held thier own, I wish I had the other intakes mods to go w/ the stroker though. Would have represented the East coast pretty well... :headbang: So far, these have been the best pipes I've owned for my type of riding. I don't go for the "light switch" powerband, nor do I strictly race.....These pipes really put the power to the ground w/ minimal tire spin and hard pull w/ a smooth powerband....Even though I've set my shee up for technical hill climbs and trails, there is only a couple of shees that'll take it w/ my new setup, but I want a rematch w/ the new intake mods...... :o Don't let that "midrange" title fool you. You get less revs, but more torque...

Banchetta, thanks for the reply. Where can I get the best price for PT's...anywhere other than Duncan? Or Ebay? I am seriously considering the mids now. I have found a place where Fatty's complete with powercore2's $394. I also can get TR6's for $400...but the guy that had them said they have no lowend, and are over priced. He drags though. Midrange pipes might be a better fit for me...so I'm not limited.

As far as I know, Duncan and a couple of other places only sell Pt's..Duncan sells them for $525 (last I knew) and Team Alba sells them for $499....Dont' buy anything from Golden West.....They still owe me $800........
