Half of the fun of owning a Banshee, for me, is the chance to come up with my own mods and do as much as I can by myself. I am a perfectionist (sometimes this isn't a good thing) and prefer to do my own porting. I am willing to accept success or failure, as long as I am the one who is responsible.
