Just pulled mine 5 minutes ago. Impacted the nut, slipped out the puller. 2 turns on the puller and it's in my lap. ;)

ANd the flywhel is on a taper lock. It only needs to be tightened to it's torque spec.... But I use an impact for that...... My impact gun on it's lowest setting is about 80 lb./ft. So, I just use that. Works like a charm....

 

Thanks boon...thats good to know...now i can use the impact to get 'er back on too!!... :headbang:

Before breaking down and buying an impact wrench... a strap wrench was the tool ;) Get one of those lifetime warranty Craftsman deals and it popped off with some elbow grease. But yeah, impact wrenches are the shiz...

Damn near spit my Pepsi all over the computer. Thanks, just what I needed this morning. ;)

 

Oh, and it's too dirty of a job for the wife, better call in some backup.
