I asked the same question. A new spring runs around a hundred bucks. I decided to spend that money on one of MrMatt's -2 swingarms. It made my back shock stiffer and it made the quad SO much more fun to ride. Look into it.

As luck would have it guys I just happen to work at Eibach Springs and extend discounts to HQ members for springs (any springs we make). If I can help send me a PM.

You could send it to TCS (total control suspension) and have it revalved the right way for your weight and riding type. You will be much happier than just changing the spring.

Damn, I wish you made some coilovers for my Jeep and SuperDuty. burnout.gif

I agree with spoin39, a spring alone may not be the best solution. You could have Works rebuild/revalve your rear shock for under $200 I think (they call it a "heart transplant" on their web page). But you may also need a different spring though, depending on the application.

BTW the stock rear Ohlins is a pretty good shock I think, unless you are having problems with it and can't get it dialed in (like if you are very heavy or the shock is blown), you may not benefit from upgrading it...

I have over 14,000 different coiloover springs to choose from, we just don't make the threaded body shocks for them, if you get the shocks ( king, sway-away, fox, bilstein, etc..) I've got the springs.........Plus we have a full line of automotive performance lowering springs, anti-roll bars, struts & shocks and alignment kits.

I just had my stock 97 rear rebuilt by TCS. Oil and seal for 100 bux. not bad considering I had it back in under a week. Todd is the owner, cool guy, and he did a great job. No more SwampAss for me.
