azza02shee Posted April 23, 2004 Report Posted April 23, 2004 Went for a ride last weekend at the local track, hadnt done heaps of jumping before, mostly trails. At the end of the day I noticed that the front wheels appeared to be sagging. Narrowed the problem down to bent A-arms. Are stock A-arms really that weak? Quote

At the end of the day I noticed that the front wheels appeared to be sagging. Narrowed the problem down to bent A-arms. Are stock A-arms really that weak? I've never bent a-arms from jumping before. I've landed hard enough to scrape the frame, but never bent anything. All my arms have been bent from wrecking. My shocks are on the loosest setting so I guess if yours are on the hardest... but wow. The lower ones bent? Quote

azza02shee Posted April 27, 2004 Author Report Posted April 27, 2004 Thanks guys, I did have a couple of heavy landings but nothing too serious. Maybe my front shock settings are too hard. Those A-arms look schmick. Quote
BenBB Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 The stock uppers are weak, I bent two of them before I got Ricky Stators... Quote

azza02shee Posted April 29, 2004 Author Report Posted April 29, 2004 It looks like the uppers that are bent, very slightly, might cold bend them back into shape Quote
